Sorry - not too sure about Vista compatibility

If you have Nero, install the K-Lite codec pack click here and Nero will do the encoding for you while burning to DVD.

How about if I have 2 avi files I want to join and make into 1 DVD?

If they have the same framerate, same screensize and same audio, you could use Virtualdub to join them. click here

You can still put two (or more, depending on their file size) encoded AVI files onto a DVD using Nero, but they will be different chapters, rather than one continuous movie, D@z©

Virtual dub came up with an error. The avis is one film but in 2 parts so i need to put them together.

What was the error, D@z©?

Here is the tutorial for joining avis with virtualdub. click here

I reinstalled and it seemed to work. Thanks MAJ.
