Enable Java

I'd like to enable Java in my browser (ME)
Can some kind sole tell me how to go about this.

Go to IE > 'Tools' Internet Options' > Advanced
and scroll down to MicrosoftVM (or Java) and enable JIT compiler (or Java)

If you don't have Java you can download it from

ordep, you may want to take a look at some of the suggestions on my thread:- "Java won't work on X.P". I've had no luck so far but I live in hope!

beeuuem, I was doing that, but it was showing "Java enabled". Thats why I posed the question, I thought I was doing something wrong.


Guy Fawkes, thanks for the link. I d/l java vm, as someone suggested, and it works.
