Emails printed in colour

I am using Outlook Express 6.0 and Win 98SE. Every time I print out an email (either sent or received) it is printed in a violet or magenta colour. None of the text on the screen is coloured. Only the page number and the line under my user name are printed in black. In "tools/ Options/ Compose/ Font settings" the colour is set to black. How can I change my print-outs to black.
Glen.

what type of printer are you using, is their an option to print in draft mode and black ink only, if you have these options you will probably find them in the printer properties box.
