emails with .exe files

when I am sent an .exe file I don't recieve the email. It doesn't get returned to the sender, it just seems disappear
There is no tick in the "Do not allow attachments to be saved"

WindowsXP service pack 2.

Its probably one of the ISP's who are deleting the email because a lot virus are spread via EXE files. can you get the sender to use Winzip and send it?

As Valvegrid says, ask the sender to zip the file to disguise it, or change the extention. You will have to change it back to .exe when you receive it.
