Email Rules

I have set up many rules in Outlook 2003 to send spam emails to deleted folder. I don't think incoming messages are filtering through; they are being dropped into my junk email folder. I then create new rules and move spam to deleted items folder. At least I don't get them in my inbox but how do I make sure rules are being applied to new messages? Thanks Julian

Go in to the message rules and check each for correct properties. You may have doubled up on some of them? If like me you have over 40 then it does take time.
