email problem "some pictures blocked..."

  palinka 10:07 10 May 06

I think this has been discussed before, but I can't find it: a friend reports that when I send him emails he sees a paperclip symbol in the Inbox, but there is no attachment when he opens the email. (Not surprising - I didn't include an attachment). But across the top of the email is the message "some pictures have been blocked to help prevent the sender identifying your computer. Click here to download pictures".
An example was yesterday when I sent him a notice about a meeting, no pictures, just text; but he received this message about pictures. I use Win ME; he's on XP; I use MSGTAG on all outgoing mail.

The picture is probably the msgtag logo thingy.

or an av tag.

thanks, everyone - I've sent the link on to him. And also suggested an anti-spyware search, just in case.
