email from PC Advisor - is it genuine?

I have received an email with the subject "HELPROOM: Free IT support for PC Advisor readers". Is this a scam, or is it a genuine offer?

If you've got any doubts about any email the best course is to delete it.

I've had one too - it's perfectly OK.

ps I think the free IT support refers to what we all give ;-)

I had one too. Strange, as i un-ticked the option to recieve the e-mial news letter in question when i signed up. But got it anyway, and on checking my personal details found thet i am now 'ticked' to recieve it.

Odd, but not a problem. I just unticked it, a second ago, then saw this thread.

It's genuine, received one earlier on to day. The one prior to that was 4 weeks back offering me 6 issues of PCA for £9.99 if I subscribed plus a free gift. Subscribed straight away and received the gift 2 days later and the first issue of the mag 5 days after that, well before it is in the shops. :o)
