Email link problems

  albu 19:02 13 Sep 08

Using xp pro and o2 home broadband. Everytime I try to click on an email address link on a web page the pc freezes, loads of tags pop up if I click several times and I have to press ctrl alt del to escape.

The best technical support for broadband (o2 according to a vote) said I have a virus.

Don't think so! My virus scanner is Eset Nod 32, using spywareblaster and Ccleaner. When scanned nothing shows.

I think it may be a browser issue, then again I could be and probably am wrong.

Can anyone offer me advice or help on this issue.
Many thanks in advance for taking the time to read my problem and thank you once again for any help posted.

You (probably) don't have a virus. See click here
