Hello,

Is there a way to insert a line break in the body section of an email link...example as follows:

a href='mailto:[email protected]?subject=Message&body=This is test number 1 This is number 2 This is test number 3>

How do I insert a break between the 3 obvious separate messages in the body section?

The br /> tag doesnt have any effect.

Thanks in advance,

I don't think it's possible!

Anything after &body= is sent to the email program as a text string, and therefore can't contain control characters.

either n/ or /n It could even be with a backward slash and the 'n'

I'm sure I used it a couple of years ago on a site but can't remember exactly what it was. Try them all and see if it works.
