Email Hyperlinks - Abreviating-How?

Is there any way of abreviating to something like 'click here' an web site address that I have copied/pasted into an email? A long hyperlink looks awful.

Using Windows Mail

You can use TinyURL - type/paste your long link into the box and click to convert to a short link, which you then paste into the email.

I am still using OE but would think Windows Mail is similar -

Having copied your long URL ready to paste:
You have to compose the email in HTML not plain text, in the part where you type the message, type what you would like the hyperlink to be, for example:
click me
now select/highlight the click me that you typed and then go to Insert and choose Hyperlink and paste the URL long link into the box. Click on OK. Your highlighted text in the email will change to the link.

I think I partly misunderstood your question - lotvic's method gives you much greater scope to choose your own text for the hyperlink.
