email host numbers

how do I find sending and receiving host numbers for my email account as I am not sure if I need to change them on my mobile phone so I can acess my email account while moving,any ideas or will the phones own stored host numbers work.

..the phone's stored ones will probably be for your network servers.

Whilst the sending one will probably work, the receiving one won't be picking up YOUR email because it is at your network providers, not your ISP so it won't be allowed to.

Check out your ISP's website to find out their sending/receiving host names - usually something like getmail.myisp.com and sendmail.myisp.com and put those in.
