Outlook Express has suddenly stopped allowing me to send - only receive and when I last managed to send anything, it sent it 10 times!!
It is also telling me that my ISP server is rejecting my password as invalid. I went to my ISP website to manage/edit my email accounts to reset the password and sent a test email to myself from there and that went 4 times!

Have spoken to the techies at my ISP (Claranet) and they reckon I have a problem with the Outlook Express software - any ideas on a possible fix please?

Try add/remove programs, and select REMOVE for Internet Explorer, then select REPAIR. This will often solve Outlook Express problems as the two programs seem intertwined. If you are using XP this won't work with the procedure that i have given. In this case click here
