Email with broadband problems

Hi all,

I just got broadband yesterday and can't seem to send any emails. I can receive them ok.

I am using XP Pro, outlook express with a speedtouch 330 usb adsl modem and zonealarm pro. The error message I get is as follows...

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'pop.topletter.com', Server: 'smtp.topletter.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F.

I rang tech support and they suggested turning off my firewall to send emails. Although this works, I don't want to do this every time I send an email.

Any and all help appreciated.
Meth.

Sorted it. I had to turn off outbound mailsafe in firewall.
Thanks all.
