email attachments?

Thought I had posted this in helproom this morning, but later realised it had appeared in Consumer section instead!

Since upgrading to IE6 I have noticed that all emails sent and received are showing an attachment, which if clicked on and opened contains the same text as the email itself. I have my email settings to 'Plain Text' in both send and receive modes, so am rather puzzled by this. Any ideas - or better still suggestions on how to get rid of this seeming waste of space and time due to redundant information
Thanks

You mention upgrading to IE6. Are you therefore using Outlook Express 6 as your e-mail program?

I think that it has something to do with the stationary setting.

Make sure that you are not sending any e-mails with stationary on them.

Other than that I am stumped. I cannot re-create the problem.

There must be someone out there who has the answer.
