Email address hijacked

  JulesH 21:33 18 Apr 06

On checking my email tonight, I have received around 100 email delivery failure messages. Obviously someone is sending out spam using my email address domain (I have my own registered domain). The format is random chars>

Is there anything I can do to stop my address being used in this, or should I contact my ISP or company that I have my domain registered with (and email forwarding)?

Thanks in advance

If you have a look there have been loads of threads over the past weekend describing the same problem. Basically one or more of your contacts has got a virus that is harvesting addresses from their contacts and sending out e-mails. It should subside in a few days.
