I have just built a PC with Elitegroup K7SOM+ motherboard, trying to boot from floppy is a problem. I changed the boot options in the BIOS to boot from floppy first. But you have to press F8 to select the first boot. How do you change the boot sequence, the up/down keys don't work. I have CD Rom, Network, IDE. By pressing the #3 key you can select the options. I installed 98 in another PC, returned the Hard disk finished the installation, now it is trying to boot from SCSI and I get boot failure. Any ideas.Thanks.

Try using PgUp and PgDown to change the order instead of the arrow keys.

The problem was that I didn't have the option to boot from floppy, this was because the floppy was not being recognised. New floppy drive and cable sorted it out. Thanks anyway, Wossie.
