Editing photographs?

Hi, I want to place some photographs on my website, but as I do not want them re-using by anyone else I wanted to put a water mark or something on the photo so it could not be used again but could be still seen clearly. Is there anyway to do this? and if so how and with what photo software?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Dax.

Put ... watermark an image ... into a google search, and research some of the results.

I still have MS Photodraw (from Office2000) - it allows me to put text anywhere into a picture and adjust it's transparency - ideal for watermarks

Any good editting prog (photoshop, PSP) will allow you to add a layer of text and then you reduce the opacity so you achieve a watermark effect. David
