Editing ini files in windows 7

I previously used Windows XP and when I wanted to change the information in an ini file I did not have a problem. I am now trying to edit an ini file in Windows 7. I open the file and add the information. However when I try to save the file I receive a message that I need to be administrator. It is my own PC with nobody else using it. Can anybody let me know how I can get around this obstacle?

I am surprised that you are getting this as I have no bother. What particular .ini file is it?

right click - select pen file as administrator - change info - it should then save ok
