Editing Data on CD

  cruiser2 19:01 14 May 06

Having transfered several files onto a CD(A 52x CD CD-R 80min/700MB) I now want to alter some of the files and delet others.
When I open a file and try to alter the wording or deleteit I get a small window which says that it is a"READ ONLY" file.
Consequently I am unable to alter or delete the file.
I have Windows XP2 Home with updates and do not have problems transferring the files.
This applies to other CDs where the information is out of date and I want to re-use the CD.

Files saved to CD always becomes 'Read Only'.

Try saving to a USB pen drive instead where files remains editable.
