Editing & Burning Video Files

Could anyone recommend quality software - free or otherwise - for editing and burning files on to DVD for playback on PCs and DVD Players.

Don't know about editing software as such but for authoring/burning software DVD Flick (free) and Nero are the ones I use.

Windows Moviemaker which you probably have is not bad and will do what you want.

But I think that Windows Moviemaker only burns DVD's with Vista.
