I have urgent need to edit a voice over on a cd-rom.I run w98se,have toshiba dvd/cd-rw in addition to normal cd rom drive.
Have Roxio/IomegaDirect cd and Easy CD Creator4.02c.
Any thoughts on additional software required, if any? and if there is a guide available to download.

you could import the track to 'windows movie maker' i believe this lets you add a voice over.

you could then use 'windows media player' to convert/record the track back to a CD.

You've got to download the track onto your HDD, then you can use any audio editing software -- probably whatever came bundled with your sound card will do the job. (I presume you've got a sound card, with a microphone socket.)

Then, when you've achieved what you want, burn it onto a CD-R using Roxio.
