Edit Context Menus for Desktop, Folders, and Files

Ive been installing a lot of softwares lately and I haven't noticed my context menus started to pile up. Can I remove some of these junkies manually (without using any third party softwares)? I believe it is possible using the registry but have been googling for years and cant find of a better step, Can someone give me a brief, concise, and clear step.. please.... any comments or suggestions is greatly appreciated... thanks!
