I know there's so many Ebay scams. I type the address for Ebay.co.uk and when I go to sign in IE (xp) warns me in address bar in red the certificate is not valid, error with certificate. Do I sign in and possibly give my details to a phisher?

I'm still getting the certificate warning on 'sign in', but I'll risk it as it's a genuine link. Thanks.

Download the ebay toolbar, you get a warning then for suspect or false sites.

MichelleC--I use eBay every day, and have been connected since 8am this morning. Just tried the link supplied by DS, and it works fine. Try as suggested and do a clean-up routine on your computer.

If you are really concerned, then eBay have a free 'add-on' that will tell you if the eBay connection is true or false.
