Hi,

Recently got an Easicom 1000 for my folks as an alternative to a PC.

Works well but at the mo confined to Talk21 which means 12p dialup then call costs.

Blurb says you can use an existing POP3 account. I know freeserve is POP3 as I use them myself. Anyone out there know if it's possible to use the freeserve "pay as you go" number (0845 0796699) to dial into their servers using the Easicom, and thus maybe save the 12p costs?

Cheers!

Dave

I don't know a thing about these phones but a quick search has found yes you can use POP obviously to receive but it looks like you have to use Talk21 to send.
