E-Mail Watermarks

I have devised a watermark for word documents comprising of a picture that you can write over. I have been trying to do this for e-mails as well but can't seem to work it out.Is there an easy way to make my default e-mail setting have the watermark that I want?

Worth remembering (from the link)

Note: These watermark images will only be seen by recipients who are using an HTML enabled email client.

If people view the email in plain text (and in some instances) rich text your image will become an attachemnt.

It is my opinion, and one that I know many would share, that sending images in emails that do not form part of the content is not good practice. Not only for the reason above, but also it has to be downloaded every time and increases the size of the mail sent. In very few instances do they add value.
