e-mail problem

Please can you help, every time I try to use the
e-mail function, I get the fault message below.

Message number 1 could not be retrieved. Account: 'happy', Server: 'pop3.lineone.net', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR cannot open disk file error 2', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800420CD

Check your POP3 setting, they should look something like this: pop.lineone.net

SMTP setting should be the same, please not in both instances there is no 3 in the settings, just POP or SMTP then the ISP.

For Lineone the settings are:- POP3.lineone.net and:- SMTP.lineone.net ,these are the settings that I have used for several years on my old Lineone account and they still allow me to access the account although I have not used Lineone since going to Blueyonder BB about two years back.

I had a similar problem some time back and it was a corrupt mailbox on the ISP mail server. Contacting them solved the problem.

The way to easiest way to give you a clue is to use the ISP web mail service (if they have one)to try and read the mail as it doesn't use the POP server - plus it gives the ISP additional clues if it works or not.
