e-mail error message

Recently I have had one or two e-mail messages that I have been unable to download. The following error message appears.

Message number 1 could not be retrieved. Account: 'Sheila', Server: 'pop.freeserve.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR unable to open that message', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800420CD

Can anybody tell me exactly what it means?

The CC90 error is a POP3 response error, which means that OE and your pop3

Thanks Spikeychris.

I have done as you say. I have also checked the Pop3 Log file and can see where it says error instead of pass. Does it actually mean that I might have lost incoming mail?

The mail will still be on the server. You can access it on the Freeserve website.
