I'm using windows xp home until yesterday without problem. Now every time I try to send an e-mail I'm told message could not be sent because link was interrupted. What do I do?

Can you post a screenshot of the message?

Try a system restore point prior to problem,
go to start > programs> accessories> system tools>
system restore> and click on a date prior to problem. pc will reboot and restore to selected point, hopefuuly it might resolve your problem
Good luck

It could be a problem with your ISP email server

As rawprawn, check your isps' website and see if there are any reported problems.

If you are expecting any important mail, or need to send any, there is prob a login section on your ips's website, enter your username/password and you should be able to view/send mail from there. It's what I do when away from home.

Hope this helps.
