DX Diag

I recently fitted a new graphics card now none of the games will run I`ve noticed that when I run dx diag all the items in the display page have either got n/a or notavailable next to them,I have dx10 in the machine and I`ve been told that I may need to reinstall dx10 if this is the problem how do I do it I searched all over the microsoft site but no luck can someone help please .
ps do I have to uninstall the ol version first??

I usually uninstall the original drivers, remove the old card, replace with the new one and install the drivers that came with the new card. You can always update at a later time.
