dwwin.exe (again)

The dwwin.exe dialogue box has started appearing again. I have found my way to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AeDebug
and set the "auto" value to 0 and rebooted following previous advice here. The value is still set to 0, but after a couple of days of not appearing, it is back. The dialogue box requires a response, and does not time out, so when I want to shut down I have to sit and wait for the pesky varmint. Any suggestions?

Manually close every task and program you can before doing a shutdown - if don't see the message you'll have to track down which program is the source of the problem.
Or check the log file created by DrWatson.exe;
