Does anyone know which is the most commonly used DVD format is it DVD- or +? i have been using DVD- but when i record on it and take it somewhere else to watch it says Bad Disc, I have played both on the Machine i want to use but lately i can't. My recorder DVD does use both, is it that it has to be finalised first, as i thought you only had to finalise DVD-r not DVD-rw also, any advise would be great , many thanks

Did you `Finalise` the DVD after recording?

I have +R/RW system on my DVD recorder and a +R disc has to be 'finalised', but a +RW disc has to be 'made compatible' for it to be played on another player.

Perhaps it's the same for the -R/RW system.
