What you need to look out for is the type of DVD it will record -- the one you've referenced does DVD-R and DVD RAM. It doesn't seem to do DVD-RW, which might not be a problem to you if you don't intend to re-use your DVDs.
So, you just need to check that the domestic DVD players you intend to play your movies on can play DVD-R format. Many (most) modern ones can.
