hi i have recently got a digital camcorder and i want to beable to put the home movies on dvd when i put on dvd it all works and i can burn the dvd. the problem i am having is when i put the dvd in to my home cinema dvd player. when i play the film the picture is squash alot and the picture is about 3 inches in height and the width is ok. how do i have increase the height of the picture to get a better picture. to burn the dvds i use windvd ver2.0. please help.

make sure you (1) not use widescreen format, you need to use normal 4:3 format (2) select PAL (not NTSC) format

hi the setting in windvd are set to pal for the tv system but i can not find a stting to change from 4:3 to 16:9

Try it in WMP or Nero if you have it
