DVD Writer Troubles, New Media or New Writer?

  big kev 00:38 30 Nov 03

I currently have the Toshiba SD-R5002 and am mainly using the Verbatim CD-RW's for video purposes, but am experiencing corruption at various stages on the copy, mainly at the end of the video.

Does anyone know if there's a problem with the Toshiba and Verbatim and do you think it's worth getting more media, or just upgrading the writer??

It has the latest firmware installed.

Which is the cheapest?

It is the new media... Try some new media.

I dont think somehow it is your DVD writer, I think it is either the media or your motherboard. Maybe even the Hard drive...

But its worth trying new media, maybe try a new DVD RW if that fails.
