Hi, I posted a thread a while back saying my dvd drives arn't recognised. I've kinda fixed that now by only connecting the most important one, My dvd rw. It plays dvds and cds and games but when I put in a blank dvd for burning it comes up on My COmputer as 'cd drive' and Nero automatically starts up but the option to burn a dvd is not clickable.
Also I have 2 dvd drives in my 'My Computer' but only one is connected, I hope this makes sense because I really wwant to burn a dvd, if anyone who can help doesn't understand my problem please reply and I will try to explain a different way.

Is the DVD -r drovr + or - or both, have you tried more than one brand of DVDr?

No I haven;t, only tried a DVD-R , does that make a difference then?

My DVD-Rs are by a company called 'Verbatim'
