DVD-RW Drive help

  Firesharpe 16:05 30 Aug 07

I have recenlty purchased a pioneer dvr112d dvd writer, but I am unable to get it to put anything onto a disk. I am trying to store my photos on to a DVD+RW disk using nero 5.5. Nero seems to go through the process, but it doesn't actually write them to the disk. I have also tried it with music files too, but the same thing happens. Can anyone give me any advice on what I am doing wrong.

Many thanks

I can only assume Nero 5.5 is not compatible with this writer. The 5.5 version is very old now, most people are using either version 6 or 7.

Only suggestion I have is try another burner, a free one like Deepburner or CD burner XP though there are others. Haven't used any of them myself as I use Nero 6 which is fully patched.

Suggestion: Have you checked the support CD which probably came with the disc? As well as drivers, it will probably also contain CD/DVD copying/burning software for all needs. HTH.
