I just recently uninstalled loads of software that was bundled with my DVD-ROM's.
When i restart windows, i get an error message in the system device manager saying the hardware has been detected, but couldnt to be initailised due to a problem/corruption in the computers regestry files.
How can i restore this?
DONT say windows restore - tried it, and it doesnt work - CAN ANYONE help me to restore my DVD-ROM configuration in the regestry??
LG DVD-ROM DRD8160B
PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-103
Thanks all

Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device.

this is found in the system device manager....how can i restore it??
