I video'd my Australian friends when they were here. Made a DVD and sent it to them in OZ. Does not play. Is this due to Area coding on their player? If it is, can this be overcome?
Help please
Dave

If the disc is single layered, then you can do this:
you can use DVD Decrypter in ISO mode to rip the DVD onto your hard disc in a region free .iso file. And then you can use DVD Decrypter again to burn the .iso to a blank PAL DVD that will play in all regions.

Would have thought it unlikely that a homemade dvd would have region coding check with your friends what format their player uses may be a simple matter of + or - and yours is'nt and of course you did finalise the disc if it needed it ?
