When i insert a disc into my DVDRAM drive the PC shuts down. Other drives (DVD & CD) function without problems. Any suggestions please,
Dave

This RAM drive.. Is it a new installation?

Have you used the Secondary IDE connection and set the correct jumpers to Master and Slave etc?

The drive was in the machine when purchased and has been fine for a couple of years. This is a new problem. It is an intermittant fault but is becoming more frequent. If I insert the ram disc during the final stages of power up I have no problem.
