My ex popped round today. And we were talking about dvd's. She asked me an interesting question. Is it possible to burn a dvd to hard drive, then just burn the music part back on to a cd? I said don't think you can? I don't want to do it just got me thinking can it be done?

Depends what sort of dvd,if its a music video im not sure i think the are integrated togehter, but you should be able to do it with movies,if you can find the right files to copy and somthing to play them with after.

Though you'd need to make sure what you burn to CD is converted into a suitable .wav file, most software can convert it on the fly during the burn process, otherwise you can use something like Audacity to load the mp3 and save as .wav. click here
