DVD problem

I made four DVD’s via RealPlayer Plus, each one consisting of 10-12 short videos which I’d downloaded via RP. The disks I’m using are Verbatim DVD-R. In each case it recorded the first ½ hour correctly but then went haywire when playing them via a DVD player (two different ones were tried), but they play normally on my PC. Anyone have a clue as to cause and effect? Norming

If you still have the files on your PC try using another burner to test on one DVD. DVD Flick is good and it's free. It will rule out if RP is at fault or otherwise.

What type of dvd did you make ie a proper dvd ie shows as a video_ts folder on the PC or just a data one with just video clips. As said Flick will make a proper one and before you waste any more discs just create an Iso image first using flick if that all plays ok then burn to disc . Flick uses Imgburn to burn with it installs that at the same time . Both are superior to real player

But I can’t find any way of transferring the videos from Real Player to DVD Flick. (I already have Imgburn). Norming

Where did you download the videos?

The default location for RealPlayer video downloads is:

C:\Documents and Settings[current user]\My Documents\My Videos\RealPlayer Downloads\

If you want to change the location, follow these steps:

  1. Open RealPlayer.
  2. Click Tools.
  3. Select Preferences.
  4. Click Download & Record from the left menu.
  5. Click the Browse button next to Save Files To and select the new location where you want downloads to be saved.

That being said, all you have to do in Flick is click on 'Add Title', browse to the Folder it's in and choose the video.
