DVD Problem

I have written some music to a dvd disc and when I try and transfer it over to the desktop it doesn't work. It either freezes and then I have to end task the dvd-rom contents window or an error message comes up saying something about a parameter value error or something.

Any ideas?

If you could post the exact error message it will help to try and track down a solution.

The exact error in an error message box says 'Cannot Copy (The Music title): Data Error (Cyclic Redundancy check).

Any ideas?

This has come up before. The message suggest that the music file(s) is/are corrupt. CRC appears to be a form of error checking to ensure the file is readable.

It's also worth checking that the cables are correctly inserted in the drive or possibly try a new cable as another check.

The DVD disk could also be damaged.

well, the other songs on the dsic transfer from disc to hard drive fine. It's just this particular amount of songs.

It's possible that just some files are corrupt.
