DVD Player will not play DVD'S ???

  isaac 20:54 28 Feb 03

Hello to all out there,

Since decking my comp and reinstalling Windows ME
my Panasonic DVD player seems not to want to play,
always played ok before, but now although the software seems ok and working it just refuses even to start a DVD,just DVD'S that is, the drive plays Audio though no problem with the software working bang on.
The only thing that I have put on my comp is a card reader for my digital camera that has designated itself to Drive F, could it be anything to do with that ?? Hope you can help out,

Check that 'DMA' is enabled for the DVD drive.

(Example Win98SE: May differ on ME)

1/ Right click My Computer.

2/ Properties, Device Manager.

3/ CD-ROM, *The Correct Drive*

4/ Properties, Tick Box 'DMA'

Other than that, I don't know. Perhaps try re-installing the DVD software that you use?
