DVD playback in Windows Media Player problem

Whenever I try to play a DVD in Windows Media Player, I get sound but no video. This happens with every disc I put in the DVD player. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong - I have the Sonic Cineplayer DVD Decoder Pack installed as a Media Player plugin so there should be no problem with MPEG2 decoding, and the drive itself is working fine.

Please can anyone offer any suggestions?

I haven't got Cinemaster, only the Cineplayer decoder plugin.

Have you tried checking Windows Media site for CODECS?

You could also try the DivX CODEC instead to see if it makes a difference.

Having visited the Windows Media website I couldn't find any codecs I don't already have (if I was looking in the right place). I also already have the DivX 5.0.2 codec installed.

Off to bed now as it is all doing my head in, but will be back tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestions.
