DVD not recognised

I have just bought 'A Bridge to Far' and decided to back it up as i normally do. However, when I tried to play/load/ the dvd it says there is no disc in the drive. I put in another DVD and it plays and loads OK.

Any ideas??

Which copy won't play - original or the copy?

i gather it is the copy.maybe something to do with the protection

if its the original that doesn't play then take it back

Sorry, it is original DVD that does not load or play on PC ..... It does play on TV using DVD player there.....

have u a software dvd player ie power dvd??

Yes - I use Power DVD and all others play ok on my system and I am able to backup them up. Just this one!
