dvd from music score

  mern 21:16 04 Jun 06

Is there a way I can burn a dvd from music played on the computer from a music writing score such as Sibelius. I can of course burn the manuscript but what I want to do is actually record the audio sound. I have Nero

You need to be able to record "What you hear" through the speakers. If you have a Creative soundcard with mediasource software this will do it, I do not know of any other free software that can do this. Once you have it recorded then you can burn an audio CD.

Audacity will do this for you if you don't have Creative sound click here

Also jetaudio click here I use a combination of both that and audacity.

Agree with €dstowe. I use JetAudio and also LP Recorder (not free) click here

If you go for Jetaudio, once installed, go to Recording and select Stereo Mix.

I also agree with €dstowe and pj123.

I use JetAudio and Sound Blaster Live! Audio.
My drop down box is set to 'What U hear' and ticked.
