DVD media

I'm just about to order a pioneer 106 writer.

Can anyone recommend a good quality media for both +r and -r writing?

I was going to use -r for data and +r for movies.

cheers all....

dont pay more than £130.

as for media, im yet to find any brand that has given me any problems(Sony DRU), but you can review some media burnt on the pioneer click here

Have i got the writing for each media right?

+r for movies and -r for data?

in theory that is probably right.

in reality both formats seem do the jobs equally as well as each other.

rather than concerning about the qualities of each format, most consider the price of media and compatability amongst players.(which makes -R the first choice for most)

I have a Sony DRU500 and use -R for everything, on the basis that it's the cheapest.

Is there any factor, other than what my domestic DVD player can play, that makes +R better for movies?
