My daughter took a 20 minute video while on holiday on her digicam and wants me to make a Video CD, or DVD for her to watch on our Philips DVP520 DVD Player, or any other DVD Player. What format would I have to use to be able to watch on any DVD player. I have a free programme called Advanced X Video converter to use and have tried converting the video file(ASF format) to first AVI then Video CD, but neither will run in the DVD Player. What format do I need to use to be able to transfer the ASF file onto a blank DVD, to be able to watch in any DVD Player. Or is there free programmes out there that I could use to complete my quest.
Many thanks for any help anyone may be able to offer
