I have a pc with windows xp pro on it and two users. My account is administrator and my brother has a limited account.I want to stop his account from using the dvd drive and the cdrw drive.
Is there any way in registry or in windows that will let me do that?

I dont know how you can do it.

but, just out of interest.

Why would you want to stop him using the drives?

as you have admin rights you can go into control panel and click on the "user" icon - once in, you should be able to limit what other users can see and use on the machine. Windows has help at this point and can also give you advice !!
