Some time ago I had to reinstall every thing back onto my computer but my dvd drive wouldn't work so I had to have another disc sent to me having lost the original I can now get the dvd up on the screen but every time I click on play it says no disk in drive d even though there is a dvd in. I have looked in device manager and there is a yellow question mark in other devices is that the reason, ie does it not recognise my d drive and if it dosen't how do I fix it thanks.

Try this, if no good I ain't got a clue. Mines Win xp pro.

In Device Manager, on 'your drive' click '+' sign then Properties on your actual drive at the bottom 'Device Usage' is this enabled? You can also check the Drivers 'Tab'

Delete the DVD drive in Device Manager - Reboot - then see if it's been re-detected OK.
